How to Play Solitaire (Klondike)
The goal: build four foundation piles from Ace to King in each suit. Tableau columns alternate colors and stack descending ranks. Draw from the stock when you have no moves. Use empty columns only for Kings. It’s simple to learn, but every game is a new puzzle.
Tableau & Foundations
The tableau – seven columns with increasing face‑down cards – is your main battleground. Foundations (top right) are where you place cards in suit order. Every card you move to the foundation is one step closer to victory, but be careful: you can’t bring it back.
Solitaire Strategy
Prioritize revealing hidden cards: each face-down card you turn opens new possibilities. Avoid emptying a column unless you have a King ready. And try to keep your piles even across suits – this prevents blocking. Patience and a quick eye are your best tools.
